As spring hits the beautiful Inangahua is the perfect time to have a weekend getaway and discover some new skills in traditional Māori Harakeke weaving with Evey Weavey.

Judith Ritchie offers fun and hands-on 2 Day Screen Printing workshops from her studio in Motupipi, just 5 minutes out of Tākaka in the serene Golden Bay. She also runs summertime Artisan workshops in which you learn how to create delicious preserves and jams from home produce with ease.
Judith has vast amount of international art experience, including Pasifika elements she can introduce you to during your Screen Printing workshop. Small family and friend groups love these interactive activities where you play with colour and your own designs to print onto fabric or paper. They can also be easily adapted to suit youngsters.

Colleen Plank - Talented Tutor of Feltmaking & Eco Dyeing
The ever-talented tutor and artist, Colleen Plank, has added new dates for her incredibly popular Contemporary Feltmaking and Eco Dyeing workshops. Held in her own Earth House Studio in Atawhai, Nelson, you will learn either the art of dyeing fabric using a variety of natural materials to create exquisite designs, or create a unique wall piece by hand-forming felt using the wet felt making technique.
