Free form crochet is also called scrumbling and it means you can use yarn and stitches as you wish and work them into a form without a pattern.

A free form neck piece is crocheted with a variety of wool, silk, yarn and/or acrylic fibre. It can be used to keep warm, dress up for a special occasion and can be made for gifts.

In this one-day workshop you will learn all the tips and tricks of making free form neck pieces and after you have the knowledge for this process you can vary your design adding buttons, beading, ribbons and other embellishments.

This garment will be original and something that you can make yourself or others. And it doesn’t take too much time – before you know you will have a functional and fashionable neck piece self-designed in the colour and fibre of your choice.

Wool/acrylic and yarn as well as crochet hooks will be available at the workshop for you to use and you will take home your own finished creation.

This is a great workshop for beginners or refreshers.
