This traditionally woven Kete Whiri has a twist with an added Kupenga Kete woven over the top.
The plaited handles are plaited with the same New Zealand flax and securely attached around the top.
From plant to product, this has been created by Evey Weavey aka Yvonne Hammond, in her little studio in Inangahua. Each of her artworks is a unique one-off item.
